Notice where your body feels constricted, shoulders, chest, jaw.
Breathe in slowly through your nose for 4 counts, exhale through your mouth for 6. (This activates the vagus nerve, your body’s natural calming switch.)
Ground by feeling your feet or hips supported by the floor.
Ask: “What would feel lighter right now?”
Respond. If it’s water, movement, or a break, do that first.
